Lambros, thank you again for organizing for me (and dealing with the drop outs and fund problems). Overall I very much enjoyed the trip aboard H&B 1. The vessel itself was amazing and the cabins very comfortable. The cruise director, Lilian, was absolutely brilliant. I adored her and the assistance she provided. I actually hope to stay on contact with her going forward. The captain and all of the crew were knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and very comfortable to be around. As for the islands - it was fantastic to see the variety that we did, and I did not even mind that we did not get to Santorini. They each had their charm but Mykonos was my favourite. So for me on my next trip (I will absolutely come back) would like now to concentrate on a few days in Mykonos and a few in Santorini and wherever else fits in. I will probably be back separately just for Mykonos. On my fellow passengers - they were nice and pushed my French well beyond what I thought I could communicate. I was actually surprised half way through that 2 of them knew English but didnot do anything because they enjoyed my attempts at French. The only negative was that I had no other fellow gay passengers to become acquainted with. But I cannot say that was much of a big deal. If you would like you can see what I have posted on a blog for my friends and family to read: correction on the link - I gave you the one for the last days in Athens, but here is the general blog where you can select each segment: http://web.me.com/amombourquette/2010Travels/Blog2010Travel/Blog2010Travel.html

Lambros I am just writing to thank you for the personal care and attention provided by yourself during our recent holiday. All the arrangements, transfers etc. went very smoothly. The weather was the reason that we never visited you in Paros - they missed out Paros to get Mykonos & Delos in before the winds arrived. I had fully intended to visit the Nexus office as suggested in your tour itinery. I would also congratulate the boat crew, especially the two waitresses who were very courteous and worked tirelessly and mostly Iossif, the cruise coordinator. He did a great job in sorting out extra activities for us and then arranging for us all to get back to Piraeus and continue our holidays - we were all doing different things afterwards so it must have been a lot of work for him. He is also a very amusing and likeable fellow. The Vallas Apartments in Santorini are in a superb location, just far enough from Fira centre to be away from the noise and the crowds but just a short walk. Our host there, Marcos, was also very helpful and courteous. The day trip was GREAT. Although it was frustrating that we should have to get up early and rush breakfast to be on the bus for 7:30 then spend an hour and a half picking up from various hotels before being taken to the Acropolis museum at 09:00 which we could have walked to from our hotel in 5 minutes. That criticism apart the rest was very good, especially the guide who was particularly good in the Acropolis museum. This tour guide was also asking for a voucher, we made sure we had one of your invoices again and this time she was happy just to write down the details. Overall, we both enjoyed the holiday very much. We would have no hesitation in using your company again should we ever do something like this again. regards Tony Teperek

Dear Lambros, Before your season ends on the lovely Island of Paros I felt we must say a big THANK YOU from us all for arranging our spectacular holiday this year. We are all agreed that we enjoyed it so much and it was an unforgettable experience and one that will I am sure stay with us always. The Herodion Hotel in Athens I had stayed in 3 times before so knew the excellent location and the great staff The 4 day Classical was truly breathtaking and for me Meteora was simply the icing on the cake (even with the 612 steps to the Monastery) The Aegean Lady…… ah where do I begin? From the minute we stepped on board in Nea Makri we were made to feel part of the family and so welcome. Old Captain Stavros amazed us all with his tales and stories of the “high seas” Maria delighted us with her excellent lunches – how she produced such fare for us all from that small galley kitchen amazed us all – well done Maria! Stathis (Starfish to those that couldn’t remember his name) although the Engineer was chief “gourmet” tour guide, lifeguard, on board comedian, sometime barman and not to forget – washer up – and always with a smile -way to go Stathis! Oh and he ALWAYS knew where to find the best ice cream too….. Vassiliki and Robin – general helpers. Waiting staff. bar staff, housekeeping staff, captains assistants – oh such fun and so much to talk about for those so young Captain Fotis – guided us safely through the beautiful crystal waters of the Aegean, stopped when we wished to stop for swimming in secluded bays, took us to some of the most spectacular Islands in the world (my opinion anyway) socialised with us all in down time, ate with us at lunch, danced with us at the Captains Dinner on our last night and brought us safely back to Athens at the end of what was for me the best holiday I have ever had in all of my years working in travel and tourism. As you know we travelled all the way from Madeira Portugal and Steven from American and although our holidays for 2011 were planned a long time ago we are already planning a return trip on the Aegean Lady in June 2012 and bringing 3 friends with us as well next time also from Portugal – this time maybe for two weeks back to back – can’t wait. I attach some pictures for you and I am sending you some more. Thank you once again Lambros and also for the wonderful time we had with you exploring the lovely Island of Paros – we are sorry we couldn’t have stayed longer. Do stay in touch and we (all the gang) look forward to seeing you on Paros in June 2012! Kindest regards, Marilyn, Cristina and Steven.
